Influencer’s news after millions saw pregnancy test ‘fail’

Olivia Markle stood in the bathroom and looked down at the pregnancy test, she gasped and called in her husband – she was pregnant.
Or so she thought.
Turns out she read the test wrong, and that video went absolutely nuts – or, in her words, “broke the internet”.
The moment was devastating for them, but Markle’s finally posted an update and she’s got some good news.

“7 months ago I broke the internet when I posted videos of my husband and I finding out we were pregnant… But I actually wasn’t pregnant, I just read the test wrong,” she wrote in text on the video of her original announcement.
“We were devastated to find out I wasn’t pregnant because we were so excited to grow our family.”
The clip flashed to her now, holding up a pregnancy test – a digital one this time – and Markle is pregnant.
“We couldn’t be happier,” she wrote alongside the video as she danced with her husband to celebrate.

Their next bubba is due in March 2025, and the couple did a family photoshoot with some ultrasounds pictures to announce the news.
Markle’s original video was a confusing one, and she admitted at the time she and her husband weren’t trying to get pregnant.
They’re already parents to a daughter named Zealand and were excited to see her become a big sister.
But after doing two follow up tests, they soon realised that she’d just read the first one wrong and got excited over a mistake.

Her first video, sharing that moment, has been watched over 9 million times on TikTok.
People were so confused about what had happened, and she shared a follow up video of the moment they released what had happened.
“Took 2 digital tests that both said not pregnant then my husband looked at the box and told me I read the first test wrong,” she captioned the post.
The video was a real one, with the shock and sadness falling over her face, and while some TikTok users couldn’t believe she had read it wrong, others praised her for sharing such a vulnerable moment.
“This is such a raw and real moment for a lot of people, I really commend you for posting this❤️. A positive test isn’t always the outcome and can be really hard to see when you’re trying for a baby,” commented one person.
Another commented, “This actually made me so sad, I could see how happy and excited you were at the possibility. Between mommy brain and maybe hoping you were in could see how you could just see what you wanted to see.”
