    Here is a barn find 1980 MGB Limited Edition that is in need of some TLC. I bought this car out of an estate of a gentleman that had passed away and was unable to get any history on it as to why the motor was out and many parts missing. After looking at the engine compartment, I am going on the assumption that there must have been an engine fire thus the heavy rust on the drivers side of the engine compartment and some slight paint loss on the edge of the front fender where it meets the hood. The hood is missing, probably tossed because of the condition. As you can see in the pics., all the pieces on the white cloth is what came with the car. As to the condition of the body, it looks to be very solid, but did feel some slight roughness on the lower quarters in front of the rear tires. The interior is in need of new carpeting. The radio is missing as well. The trunk seems very solid. The top does have several small holes along the edges on both sides. The wheels are American Racing replacements. Tires are dry rotted from sitting on ground for many years. As for the motor, it has been painted and does turn over, not seized up. Would appear when they took the engine out, only guessing, checked it out and then painted it. The seats are there and seem to be solid. The entire interior does need a good and proper cleaning. It sat in an open garage for many years and had many critters visiting it. The doors do open and close very nicely and the sill plates and rocker panels are all in great solid shape. Don't know what else to tell you about it except it would be a great restoration low mileage, low production car. You are buying it as is. Any questions, please ask! Happy Bidding!!!
