    Description

    We have an
Early Masons Ironstone Dessert Dish with Huge Water Lily / Lotus; Circa 1815; unmarked, but made 1813 to 1825.  I love the shape of this one; it's more utilitarian than most Mason's Dessert Dishes.  The rectangular shape doesn't have that delicate "don't touch me" look and the actual lotus is more dominant.  It's in amazing condition.  There is a small factory flaw on the left bottom, a possible tiny chip on the base, some glaze loss, some odd pooling on the back and light cutlery marks but no crazing, no hairlines, no cracks, no other chips.  A very solid piece.  It measures 7.75" by 10.75".  Sorry for the shipping price, but it's a substantial piece and I pack well.
