    Description

    We have an outstanding Early Mason's Ironstone Dessert Dish with Peonies; Circa 1815; One line Mark from 1813-1825.  This one is a "tour de force" with a riot of peonies and two "over the top" fancy handles.  I especially like the use of yellow and there is more gilding than my photos show.  There is a 2" hairline at 8:30 o'clock, three factory stresses on the back, some loss of gilding and enameling and a repair at 4 o'clock that looks hideous in the photos, but I had never even noticed until I took the pictures.  It measures 9" by 10.5"; sorry for the shipping, but it's a formidable piece and I pack well.
