Mason's Vista Red Transferware Two Handled Soup Bowl and Saucer
This Pair of handled red transferware soup bowls and matching saucers is in Mason's Vista pattern.
The two handled soup bowl is intended for a clear soup or bouillon. Bouillon is drunk entirely from the handled bowl or sipped from a spoon - one or the other, but never both.
There is a family and its dog in the foreground and buildings framed by arching trees form the background. The border is a wonderful design of intertwining leaves and flowers.
The bowl is 4.75 inches across the top and 6.5 inches across at the handles. The diameter of the saucer is 6.5 inches. Please see the last picture for the Mason's marks. There are no chips, hairlines, or repairs on either piece.
These 4 soup bowls are offered and is to the best of my knowledge genuinely and accurately described.
