Masons Ashworth Brothers Black & Yellow Chinese Dragon Ironstone 10 1/4 Plate
Nice ironstone dinner plate decorated with a Chinese dragon in black transferware in the center over a yellow ocher background. The edge is decorated with black transfer pixiu creatures with a black background. Marked on the reverse Mason's Patent Ironstone England. This mark was used by Ashworth Brothers. Pattern introduced around 1898. Possibly early 20th century. Also marked with the pattern number B 9927.
Has a few scratches in the center, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 10 1/4 inches wide.
