I believe back then that
price was for each.
The chips described have since been filled
and feel smooth and level. I pictured the
two on the one plate and the other has
one of the same.

Early Mason's Patent Ironstone China Vase
Pattern Plate c.1825. A beautiful Masons plate
with the hexagonal central panel of a vase
and stand with a profusion of flowers.The six panels
around the rim are decorated with flowers and foliage,
alternating with birds and butterflies. Printed in deep
cobalt blue with masses of hand painted detail in iron
red and salmon pink, highlighted with yellow ochre and
finished with scrollwork of best gold.A rare pattern to find.
