Vintage Mason's Stratford Blue Transferware Ironstone Soup Tureen & Underplate

Description

Lovely vintage Mason's "Stratford" blue transferware soup tureen with finial lid and underplate.  The makers mark states that this is post 1950. Underplate is 15 1/4"w x 12 1/2"d, tureen is 13 1/4"w x 10 1/4"d. With finial lid and plate, total height is about 9 3/4".  There is a large chip on the underside of one handle, there is a hairline crack in the lid and crazing throughout all 3 pieces. A couple small stains on the bottom edge of the lid. Still, a wonderful set.
